Kinesiological Electromyography (KEMG) and Electroneuromyography (ENMG) Examination And Certification

The PTBC will acknowledge receipt of your application for examination and certification within 30 days from the date your application is received by the PTBC. An application is complete only upon PTBC's receipt of all required forms, documents, and payment of the appropriate fees. The PTBC will not check on the status of an application until after an application has been on file for over 30 days.

All applications for examination and certification are subject to continuous review until the certification is issued. Passing the written examination does not guarantee certification.

Submitting an Incomplete Application May be Costly
If an application is processed and is deemed incomplete, the application will be closed. You will then be required to submit a new application and the application processing fee.

APPLICATION PROCESSING TIME FRAME – The PTBC will acknowledge receipt of your application within 30 days. Please do not contact the PTBC during this period, staff is unable to check on the status of your application.
