Endorsement/Verification Letter

Requesting License Verification to another Jurisdiction

Please note the Endorsement/Verification Letter the PTBC will send to another jurisdiction is the same information that is available through the PTBC's Online License Verification. Therefore, prior to submitting your request to the PTBC, contact the Agency and/or State Board that needs a verification of your license to confirm if they will accept the online verification that is available on the PTBC's website. If the Agency and/or State Board does not accept the online verification and requires an endorsement/verification letter to be sent by the PTBC, then proceed with submitting a request for an endorsement/verification letter.

Please allow the PTBC up to three (3) weeks to process your request. The PTBC will not expedite your request as the requests are processed in the order they are received. You will receive a postcard informing you that the endorsement/verification letter has been processed and mailed by the PTBC.

The fee is $60 for each Endorsement/Verification Letter. If you are requesting more than one Endorsement/Verification Letter, please submit $60 for each request. Submit a check or money order made payable to the PTBC along with your written request.

If you would like for the PTBC to overnight your request (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc) to the other jurisdiction, a prepaid overnight envelope must be submitted along with your request.

To request an endorsement/verification letter, please mail the following to the PTBC:

1. Application for Endorsement/Verification Letter
2. $60 Processing Fee Send a check or money order. The $60 processing fee is per letter.
3. Prepaid Overnight Envelope (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc). ONLY if you would like the PTBC to overnight your request.
