All physical therapists applying for certification to perform kinesiological electromyography shall take and pass the examination referred in Title 16 of the California Code of Regulations section 1399.66, which is administered by PTBC.

All physical therapists applying for certification to perform electroneuromyography shall take and pass the examination referred in Title 16 of California Code of Regulations section 1399.67, which is administered by PTBC.

PTBC will schedule a KEMG/ENMG examination after an applicant is approved to sit for the examination. Examination dates will be determined by PTBC. An Authorization to Test letter will be sent by PTBC no later than three weeks prior to the examination which will provide the date, time, and address of where the examination will be held.

Each applicant is responsible for his or her own travel and lodging arrangements.
